भारत बंद, किसान विरोध प्रदर्शन आज लाइव न्यूज़ अपडेट: केंद्र सरकार के तीन कृषि कानूनों के विरोध में किसान संघों द्वारा बुलाए गए राष्ट्रव्यापी बंद के रूप में, केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने मंगलवार को शाम को वार्ता के लिए किसानों को बुलाया। यह कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ बड़े पैमाने पर विरोध को समाप्त करने के लिए सरकार के छठे दौर की वार्ता से एक दिन पहले आता है। भारतीय किसान यूनियन के प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने कहा कि किसान नेता आज शाम करीब 7 बजे गृह मंत्री से मिलेंगे।


इस बीच, विपक्षी दलों के नेताओं ने मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद के साथ बुधवार शाम 5 बजे बैठक की घोषणा की। पांच सदस्यों के संयुक्त प्रतिनिधिमंडल में राहुल गांधी, शरद पवार और अन्य शामिल होंगे, सीपीआई (एम) नेता सीताराम येचुरी ने एएनआई के हवाले से कहा।


बंद को आज विपक्षी दलों के प्रदर्शनकारियों के रूप में व्यापक समर्थन मिला और कई अन्य संगठनों ने देश भर में प्रतीकात्मक 'चक्का जाम' प्रदर्शन किए। लगभग 15 विपक्षी दलों और कई ट्रेड यूनियनों द्वारा समर्थित बंद को सरकार और किसानों के बीच छठे दौर की वार्ता से एक दिन पहले आता है।


पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने शांतिपूर्ण भारत बंद के लिए किसानों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि  भारत बंद ’के माध्यम से किसानों द्वारा दिखाई गई एकता ने खेत कानूनों को निरस्त करने की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया है।

मुख्य रूप से पंजाब, हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश के किसानों ने आज सुबह 11 बजे से 3 बजे तक 'चक्का जाम' के विरोध के दौरान प्रमुख सड़कों को अवरुद्ध किया। कई राज्यों में दुकानें और वाणिज्यिक प्रतिष्ठान बंद रहे, परिवहन प्रभावित और यातायात बाधित रहा, जिसका सबसे ज्यादा असर पंजाब, हरियाणा और दिल्ली जैसे राज्यों में महसूस किया गया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने पश्चिम बंगाल, बिहार और ओडिशा में कई स्थानों पर रेलवे ट्रैक अवरुद्ध किए। दिल्ली में, बाजार ज्यादातर खुले ही रहे, क्योंकि भारी सुरक्षा के बावजूद सीमावर्ती इलाकों के पास ज्यादा किसान जमा थे।

Bharat Bandh, Farmers Protest Today Live News Updates: As the nationwide bandh called by farmer unions in protest of the Centre’s three farm laws draws to a close, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday called farmers for talks in the evening. This comes a day before government’s sixth round of talks to end massive protests against farm laws. Spokesperson of Bhartiya Kisan Union Rakesh Tikait said farmer leaders will meet the home minister today at around 7pm.

Meanwhile, Opposition parities on Tuesday announced a meeting with President Ramnath Kovind on Wednesday at 5 pm. The joint delegation of five members will include Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar and others, said CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury as quoted by ANI.

The bandh received widespread support today as protesters from opposition parties and several other organisations held symbolic ‘chakka jam’ demonstrations across the country. The bandh, which has been backed by around 15 Opposition parties and several trade unions, comes a day before the sixth round of talks between the government and the farmers.

Congratulating farmers for a peaceful Bharat Bandh, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said the unity showcased by the farmers through the ‘Bharat Bandh’ has underscored the need for a repeal of the farm laws.The farmers, mainly from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, blocked key roads during their ‘chakka jam’ protest from 11 am to 3 pm today. Shops and commercial establishments were closed, transport affected and traffic disrupted in many states, with the maximum impact felt in states such as Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. Protesters blocked railway tracks at several places in West Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha. In Delhi, the markets remained mostly opened even as more farmers congregated near the border areas despite heavy security.
